Urbanplus specialises in property management, contracts and facilities management, and the development of land.
We were established in May 2007 as a Council Controlled Trading Organisation (CCTO) and are a wholly owned subsidiary of Hutt City Council.
As a CCTO, we ensure the best of both worlds for our clients. We use our business acumen to make the best possible financial return, while at the same time using our public sector knowledge and expertise to ensure we meet our clients’ social objectives.
Our team has 40 years’ experience in property management operations and is led by CEO Richard Conway. This, combined with a governance Board made up of both private and public sector directors, gives the company an unrivalled position of strength in the public sector housing and development market. In addition, we have staff who are highly skilled in private sector property development.
